Here are a few early season updates from Team Wicked Fast:

From Team Wicked Fast Ultrarunning Phenom, Michelle Barton:

"Wicked Fast is Awesome!!
I love recover-EASE!! I am spreading the word like wildfire!!
I broke 12 course records in 2007 using Recover-EASE!!!!!!!!"

Editors note = Michelle has already won 4 of the top trail/ultra events in the early 2008 season. She is also prepping for the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning, where she intends to run 4 of the hardest 100-milers in the world: Leadville 100, Western States 100, Vermont 100, and Wasatch 100. If anyone will need Recover-Ease, she will, but we feel that both Michelle and Recover-Ease are up to the task!

Editors other note = Michelle actually won the Avalon 50 miler on Jan. 13 in near-record time (7:25:00), and followed that spectacular performance up only SEVEN DAYS LATER by winning the Calico 52k in 4:37:50!!!! I'd feel good about finishing the 50-miler in her combined time for both events!

From our friends at The Run Down, we received this nice update about Team Recover-Ease ultrarunner, Keira Henninger (the Southern Cal Ultra Race Series Overall Female Champion in 2008):

After Michelle Barton's Noble Canyon 50k win we noticed her and Keira Henninger popping little blue & yellow capsules like crack addicts getting a fix. It turns out, Michelle and Keira were gobbling up Wicked Fast Sports Nutrition's "Recover-Ease" capsules like they always do after physical exercise.

We bummed a bottle of Recover-Ease off the super-duo and three training runs later, The Run Down was hooked; the stuff is remarkable. We can finally ditch the Marion Jones recovery shakes.

Unlike protein-carbohydrate recovery powders, RECOVER-ease is comprised mainly of amino acids and enzymes that naturally interact with the body's chemical chains to accelerate tissue repair and reduce post-exercise pain & stiffness.

To say we can't stand buying recovery powder jugs, mixing them with liquid, and then trying to keep the concoction cold for post exercise consumption is an understatement. It's a hassle; we hate those little plastic scoop thingies. We don't do it anymore.

Recover-Ease allows you to take a few small capsules right after exercise. It's so "guy simple" we love it. And, if you're trying to drop body fat, unlike sugar laden recovery powders, the hip capsules have zero calories.

Some Highlights of the 2007 Season:

With SO many great performances from Team Wicked Fast in 2007, we found it very hard to pick out just a few of the highlights - but we think you'll agree that these two women are "wicked fast" and went above and beyond with truly outstanding performances:

Team Wicked Fast Ultra-Runner Michelle Barton (California) – in the space of 5 months (February – June 2007), won SEVEN ultra running events (31-50 miles) and set SEVEN course records!

Team Wicked Fast Du/Triathlete Amy Beth Kloner (Georgia) – took BOTH the 2007 Duathlon Long Course (15k run, 76k bike, 7.5k run) Championships at the National level and the World level – and then capped off her season with a solid 3rd place in the Female 30-34 age group at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

We're stoked to be associated with these athletes - and with every member of Team Wicked Fast - who help us to spread the word that training hard (and recovering fully) can help us all acheive our personal best.

January 8, 2008 - From Team Wicked Fast Triathlete, Jessi Thompson (Spokane, WA):

Dear Wicked Fast,

As you know well enough, I am a firm believer in Wicked Fast products and what they do for my training. I recently had a story that made me smile and not-so-gently reminded me of the amazing effects of your products. Thought I'd take a second to share it.

I have been doing some "off season" strength training for triathlon this winter. I was in week 4 of my 6 week routine and feeling pretty darn good about how strong I was getting (not sore after my tough weight routine on week 3 - important sidenote: taking Recover-Ease after each workout). So, I completed the EXACT same workout as the week prior and neglected taking my Recover-Ease post-workout because I wasn't sore the previous week. HA!!! Joke is on me... I was so sore for the next 2 days that I was fairly miserable. What an incredible difference!

Good thing I'm a quick learner ;) and was not nearly as cocky on week 5 or 6 and went back to feeling great after those strenuous workout sessions ... taking my Recover-Ease of course...

January 8, 2008 - From Team Wicked Fast Triathlete, Daniel Arnett (Atlanta, GA):

I just wanted to drop you guys a note as to how my 2007 season went. Pretty much set PR after PR and even managed to podium in two different State TT Championships. I got the Bronze Medal in Virginia, moved to Atlanta and became State Champion. Boy were they surprised to see me show up!!

With Recover-Ease and Energ-Ease in my tool box, I was able to ramp up my training and hit my workouts harder than ever. Right before the 70.3 World Championships this year, my coach said "Don't expect any more big jumps in your PR this year because your body is worn out from a long season". I went 4:26.36 and PR'd by over 12 minutes. It's impossible to have a worn out body with Wicked Fast Products!
